Description: The first black MIDI 'contest' of its kind - here are the contestants. Hosted by the ACCKun (SpringSnow) of the China Black Music Association, the TCABS (Technology Communication Activity of Black Scores) is the successor of the ITCBS (International Technique Competition of Black Scores), the black MIDI contest that was also hosted by the China Black Music Association. The TCABS showcased in this video supersedes the previous ITCBS system by abandoning the notion of judging and ranking of entries - every entry in this video is in no particular order. Other than that, everything is the same with this contest - there were two pieces of music in the contest - though contestants really only blackened the first one (as shown in the video). Originally, a few YouTube blackers were going to enter the contest, but due to time constraints, they were unable to submit their work. All contestants in this video are of the Chinese black MIDI community. Context: normally, a CBMA member would upload this video, but due to the GFW, they are unable to access YouTube. So I was asked to upload this on their behalf, to which I am honoured.
